Steffen Hüttis, M.Sc. RWTH

Patent Engineer

Steffen Hüttis studied mechanical engineering with a specialisation in plastics technology at the Rheinisch-Westfälische Technische Hochschule Aachen (RWTH Aachen University). Mr Hüttis then completed a Master's degree in general mechanical engineering at RWTH Aachen University, specialising in medical and plastics engineering and construction technology.

Parallel to his studies, Mr Hüttis deepened his knowledge as a student trainee in development at SK-Elektronik in Leverkusen and worked as a student and research assistant at the Institute for Plastics Processing at RWTH Aachen University.

Steffen Hüttis joined the firm in March 2021 as a patent engineer and is completing the training to become a German patent attorney and a European patent attorney. Since October 2021, he is also studying "Law for Patent Attorneys" at the Faculty of Law of the FernUniversität in Hagen.

Mr. Hüttis is currently involved in evaluating searches, preparing patent and utility model applications and participating in examination proceedings before the DPMA and the EPO by evaluating and processing office actions.
